Annual Dues
As of 2005, the annual dues are $60.00 per household,
payable January 1st, and cover the calendar year from January
1-December 31.
These dues pay for improvement,
maintenance and landscaping of the Bay Hills common areas,
recreation areas and entrance areas to the community. The dues
also help support the community newsletter, The
Beacon, as well as various social events.

The Bay Hills Beacon
The
Bay Hills Beacon is the monthly newsletter of the Bay Hills
Community Association (BHCA). The Beacon is mailed to nearly
900 area residences and other interested parties, including 600 BHCA
single family houses and town homes surrounding the Bay Hills Golf
Course, and also including 250 BHCA residences in Pine Valley, St.
Andrews Hill, The Bluffs at Deep Creek, and the Oakland Hills and
Bay Hills Apartments.

Directors
- Annual Meeting
- Our annual meeting to approve the
budget, vote for new board members, and discuss community
business is held in October at the Golf Club House on Bay Hills
Dr.
- All members are urged to
attend.
- Monthly Meetings
- The board of Directors' monthly
meetings are usually held at 7:30 pm on the first Tuesday
evening of the month at:
Providence Center
Fresh Field Lane (off Shore Acres Road -- first left from
College Parkway)

location if you plan to attend a particular
meeting.

- The board of directors are nominated
and elected by members of the community. See contact info
for current list and documents for procedural info.
- All members of the board are
volunteers and receive no monetary compensation for their
service. The board does sub-contract out certain services,
such as landscaping, newsletter editing, and other duties as
needed.

Designed by Ed Ault, Bay Hills is a scenic
championship 18-hole course.
- A Shopping
Center
The shopping center is located at the College
Parkway/Bay Dale Drive entrance to the community. The
shopping center includes a supermarket, a pharmacy, a liquor
store, a delicatessen, a seafood market, American, Italian and
Chinese restaurants, a coffee shop, a Hallmark store, a florist, a
hair salon, a mailbox/parcel shipping service center, an eye care
center, an animal hospital, and a dry cleaner. There are
professional offices situated above the retail stores.

Social Events
The
community offers a number of social activities throughout the year
for all ages. Included in the annual youth activities are the
Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween Party. Teen activities include
swim parties and trips to baseball games. Adults enjoy the
crab feast and Christmas party. The community also supports
local scout troops.
